Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of NeverBlank: the website at neverblank.app, the NeverBlank iPhone app, and the NeverBlank connector for AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude. By creating an account or using NeverBlank you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

What NeverBlank is

NeverBlank is a practice tool for hard conversations. You rehearse out loud or in text against AI opponents, and you get scores and coaching. Opponents, scores and feedback are generated by AI. They can be wrong, and they are not legal, medical, financial, employment or mental-health advice. Use your own judgment in real conversations.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. Some opponents require you to confirm you are 17 or older.
• Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings on the web or in the app.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Some features, including live rounds, need a paid plan. Prices, and any free trial a plan includes, are shown before you buy.
• Plans bought on the web are processed by Polar and renew automatically until you cancel in Settings → Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Plans bought in the iPhone app are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms, and are managed and refunded through your Apple account.
• Nothing is purchased inside an AI assistant. Any checkout happens on neverblank.app or in the App Store.

Connected AI assistants

If you connect NeverBlank to an assistant, you choose what to share with it, and your assistant’s own terms apply to what happens there. The assistant can create opponents, lessons and debriefs in your account and read your progress, within the permissions you approved. You can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected agents. Our Privacy Policy explains what we receive from assistants and what we keep.

Acceptable use

Don’t use NeverBlank to:

• impersonate, harass, threaten or target a real person, including by building an opponent meant to imitate them;
• create sexual content involving minors, or any content that is illegal where you live;
• try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits or security of the service;
• scrape the service or resell access without our written permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

You keep the rights to what you say and type. You give us permission to process it to run NeverBlank for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. NeverBlank’s software, opponents, lessons, artwork and brand belong to us, and you may use them only through the service.

Changes and availability

We work to keep NeverBlank available, but it is provided “as is” and may change, pause or have errors. We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use NeverBlank after that means you accept the update.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, NeverBlank is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived.
