Privacy Policy

NeverBlank is a voice-first conversation practice app. This policy explains what information we handle through the NeverBlank iOS app and website, why we handle it, and the choices available to you.

Information we handle

• Account information: your account identifier and, when supplied by your sign-in provider, email address.
• Practice content: your voice audio, speech transcripts, typed responses, scenario choices, and custom practice prompts.
• Progress: scores, coaching feedback, completed activities, streaks, and other learning history.
• Purchases: product, entitlement, transaction, and subscription status information. Apple processes your payment details; NeverBlank does not receive your card number.
• Technical information: app version, language, connection and audio-session health, performance measurements, crash or error details, and push-notification tokens.
• Optional analytics: if you enable analytics, feature interactions and general usage measurements. NeverBlank does not use analytics data for cross-app tracking.
• Website information: information you choose to submit, checkout and restore details, and campaign or device information used by the web funnel.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, run voice spars, generate transcripts and coaching, preserve progress, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, recover interrupted sessions, provide support, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your practice content for third-party advertising.

AI processing and service providers

Practice audio, transcripts, and scenario context may be processed by contracted infrastructure and AI providers to deliver the feature you requested. Depending on the scenario, these providers may include Google Cloud Vertex AI and Gemini, OpenAI, Supabase, and Railway. Other providers support purchases, attribution, analytics, and messaging, including Apple, Google, Polar, Superwall, PostHog, and relevant campaign platforms on the website. Providers may process information only for the contracted service and under their applicable data-protection terms.

Retention

Raw recordings uploaded for scoring are processed in memory and are not intentionally retained by our application server after the request finishes. Temporary live-session transcripts may be retained for up to six hours to support recovery and scoring. Account, progress, derived coaching, and purchase records are kept while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Security, transaction, tax, and fraud records may be retained longer where required by law or legitimate operational needs. Provider-side processing may be subject to the provider’s contracted retention terms.

Your choices

• You can disable optional analytics in NeverBlank settings.
• You can deny or revoke microphone and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can delete your NeverBlank account and associated app data from Settings.
• Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.
• You may contact us to ask about access, correction, deletion, or applicable privacy rights.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, authenticated service connections, and other safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

Children

NeverBlank is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their country to consent to digital services. We do not knowingly collect information from children below that age.
